Boroughbridge

TPM prepared the design and access statement and landscape and visual assessment report for this successful application in Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire which was granted permission in the spring of 2015.

The design includes for the incorporation of a linear park connecting the site to the public footpath network to the north and had to be sensitive to the relationship with the nearby Conservation Area and gateway into the town.

We developed the design through a careful consideration of a broad range of technical reports on the site, compiling these into a constraints plan which ultimately helped direct the layout and provision of services and amenities. Elements such as trees, ecology and landscape and visual amenity played a key role is the arrangement of the site which successfully manages the integration of new housing at the northern edge of Boroughbridge.
