A community project which obtained funding from the Groundwork Trust to provide environmental improvements to a redundant play area.  TPM landscape worked closely with the client group to secure the funding, prepare detailed designs and obtain competitive tenders.  TPM were also retained to oversee the project which was completed in 2011 and provides an accessible educational resource and fun environment for the local children.  The design incorporates: Sculptured mounding, amphitheatre for performances, pond connected to site drainage, deck access for pond dipping, raised planting beds for edible plants, ecological habitats and enhanced bio-diversity.
