Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment

Even when a full environmental assessment is not required most projects benefit from the design having been informed by a landscape and visual study which can highlight the potential effects, both positive and negative, of the proposed development.

Our approach typically takes the form of an analysis of the baseline landscape and the visual resource through digital modelling, office based study and field work. Landscape and Visual Assessment consists of a broad range of survey and assessment work from simple landscape appraisal for small scale development to a more extensive study which may be suitable for conversion to an EIA chapter should the need arise.
